Forevergreen has been taking care of multiple baseball fields for a long time but one of then was ready for a little makeover. We took clay blocks and put them in the pitchers mound and the batters box. These two areas are the most heavily trafficked, and that means that the ground tends to get “trenches” from the players cleats. This clay will help the field last through the rest of the season and for many more years, requiring less maintenance. This also means that the players will have a stronger base, making the ground more solid and helping to reduce the chance of slipping on loose ground. Also as you can see in the other image we used our sod cutter to widen then baseline, and make a more defined line between the grass and dirt.
